Discover the truth

We strive to establish a strong platform in the scene, a convincing reality that the audience connects to and cares about. Then it’s time to find the essence of the relationship. Often we approach it rationally and that is a process of invention. In this workshop, however, we will deal with the process of discovery. We will discover truths within the relationship and thus move the scene to the next level and learn to better understand the expectations of the audience.

SITE SPECIFIC PERFORMANCE

TriStory

TriStory is an improvised show where, as the title suggests, we shall see three stories acted out. They will all be located on the same spot. But each story will be unravelling in a different time period. Based on the information they get from the audience, the improvisers will present the locations and historical points in time where the stories are to take place. And then we all leap into a giant time machine that will take us to the distant past and a moment later to the present.

BIO

Vid Sodnik works as an artistic director of IGLU – Improvisational Theatre of Ljubljana in Slovenia. He runs the IGLU School of Improvisation with over 170 students. He mostly works as a director, actor, and teacher but is also active as a TV host, journalist, and writer at the Slovenian National Television.  He has been teaching or performing in different festivals or on tours in 25 different countries around Europe, North and South America. He’s a proud member of the Ohana project and ITI- International Theatresports Institute.
