Improv Orchestra

Music improvisation trough “Rhythm with Signs” (argentinian method). Everyone is welcome to play with us… We are going to discover this way to improvise music in real time, conducted by a Conductor. One by one, we are going to learn how to creat music together. At the end of the workshops we are going to improvise a concert. Open to everyone, musician or not, you will learn how to play an improvised music and an improvised Orchestra for live performance

BIO

Gonzalo Teijeiro was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1982. He started with music at the age of 16 learning traditional folkloric music. Gonzalo has a degree in “Recreation and leisure” as an specialist in groups dynamics through games”. In 2009 discovered the “Rhythm with Signs” and began to study with Santiago Vazquez (the creator of the the improvisation method). In 2017 he transferred to Rome, Italy to develop and spread the “Rhythm with Signs”. In 2018 he founded Orchestra Improvvisata, the first Italian school of Rhythm with Signs in Italy. Actually (2025) in Italy there are 14 groups using the method. Orchestra Improvvisata APS has made 5 italian meetings, 8 European projects and become a reference in Europe.
